  1. How do I request and receive a refund?

    Email the camp directors at teamshootout@yahoo.com. All refund requests will be processed at the appropriate time. All refunds will be processed minus an administration fee. We thank you for your patience.

  2. Where are the medical release forms?

    Medical release forms are filled out online when you register for camp. If you have already registered for camp, then you have already filled out the necessary waiver form.

  3. Where is check-in located?

    Check in is located at the dormitories at UMBC. Check in locations will depend on which team you are playing for. When you arrive to UMBC, follow the signs for your team to the designated check in area.

  4. How do I get my son from BWI to campus? Are there shuttle busses available?

    BWI airport is just a 10 minute drive from UMBC’s campus. Shuttle busses are not provided. Cabs are readily available at BWI and are relatively inexpensive due to the extremely short trip.

  5. What size are the beds in the dorm? Are linens, pillows, and towels provided?

    The beds at The Shootout are standard twin beds. Linens, towels, and pillows are not provided.

  6. When will the game schedule be posted?

    The game schedule is will be posted approximately one week prior to camp.

  7. What college coaches will be in attendance?

    There is no precise way of knowing ahead of time which coaches will be in attendance, but you see on the website the coaches who attended last year. The Shootout is attended by over 125 college coaches annually.

  8. My son won’t arrive in time for check-in, what should he do?

    If you won’t be at camp in time for check in – go to the dorms to receive your key and meal card. Find a Shootout staff member and they will help you get situated.

  9. I’ve tried to register for a session and it is no longer available online, what do we do now?

    You can register at camp as a walk-up provided you are associated with one of the teams at camp. You will need to bring a check or cash to register as a walk up. If you register as a walkup we cannot guarantee you will be housed with a teammate.

  10. Will the games be filmed?

    No, the games are not filmed by The Shootout Staff.

  11. What meals are included in the meal plan?

    Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided every day. The first meal is dinner on the first day, and the last meal is breakfast the last day.

  12. How can my son request a roommate?

    Roommate requests are handled by the team coach. Make your roommate request directly to your team coach. If your coach does not submit a roommate list, then the rooming assignments will be done at random.

  13. Are the dorms air conditioned?

    Yes.

  14. What do we do in case of inclement weather?

    All game adjustments and weather issues will be communicated through each team coach. Contact your coach to find out about rescheduled or cancelled games.
